- Cook rigatoni until al dente and reserve pasta water.
- Brown sausage in a skillet until crispy.
- Add onion and garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Stir in crushed tomatoes and spices, simmer.
- Add cream and mix until smooth.
- Toss in pasta and combine with sauce.
- Finish with parmesan and basil and serve hot.
Notes
Add pasta water gradually to adjust sauce consistency without thinning flavor.
