  • 12 oz linguine pasta
  • 1 lb large shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/2 cup white wine
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp parsley chopped

Equipment

  • large skillet
  • pot for pasta
  • tongs or spatula

Method
 

  1. Cook linguine in salted boiling water until al dente, then drain.
  2. Cook shrimp in olive oil and butter for 1-2 minutes per side until pink.
  3. Sauté garlic in butter, then add white wine and lemon juice to create sauce.
  4. Add pasta to the sauce and toss to coat.
  5. Return shrimp to the pan, garnish with parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

Do not overcook shrimp; they only need a few minutes to stay tender.
