  • 10 oz tortilla chips
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup Monterey Jack cheese shredded
  • 1 cup black beans drained
  • 1 jalapeño sliced

Method
 

  1. Cook ground beef in a skillet with taco seasoning until browned.
  2. Spread half the tortilla chips on a baking sheet and add half the toppings.
  3. Add a second layer of chips and remaining toppings.
  4. Bake at 375°F for 10–12 minutes until cheese melts.
  5. Top with tomatoes, sour cream, guacamole, and cilantro before serving.

Notes

Layering the nachos prevents plain chips and ensures every bite has toppings.
