Ingredients
  

Chicken
  • 2 chicken breasts boneless skinless
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika
Rice Base
  • 1 cup white rice
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 lemon juiced and zested

Method
 

  1. Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  2. Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet and sear chicken until golden.
  3. Remove chicken and sauté garlic in the same pan.
  4. Add rice and toast briefly before pouring in chicken broth and lemon juice.
  5. Return chicken to the pan, cover, and simmer until rice is tender.
  6. Rest the dish for 5 minutes then garnish with parsley and lemon slices.

Use fresh lemon juice for the brightest flavor.
