Ingredients
  

Shrimp
  • 500 g large shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
Honey Garlic Sauce
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp ginger grated
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp water
Vegetables
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 red bell pepper sliced
  • 1 carrot thinly sliced

Equipment

  • wok or skillet
  • mixing bowls

Method
 

  1. Mix honey, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, vinegar, and sesame oil in a bowl.
  2. Season shrimp with salt and pepper.
  3. Cook shrimp in oil for 1–2 minutes per side and remove.
  4. Stir fry vegetables for 3–4 minutes.
  5. Add sauce and simmer.
  6. Add cornstarch slurry to thicken sauce.
  7. Return shrimp to pan and toss to coat.
  8. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions and serve hot.
