Ingredients
  

Pasta
  • 8 oz spaghetti
  • 1 lb shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 0.5 tsp red pepper flakes optional
  • 0.5 lemon juiced
  • 0.25 cup parmesan cheese grated
  • 2 tbsp parsley chopped

Equipment

  • large pot
  • skillet
  • Colander
  • Wooden spoon

Method
 

  1. Cook pasta in salted boiling water.
  2. Season shrimp with salt and pepper.
  3. Cook shrimp in olive oil and butter until pink.
  4. Remove shrimp and sauté garlic in butter.
  5. Add pasta and toss in garlic butter sauce.
  6. Return shrimp to skillet.
  7. Add lemon juice, parmesan, and parsley.

Notes

Serve immediately for best flavor.
