Ingredients
  

Batter
  • 2 eggs separated
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 0.5 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 tbsp all purpose flour
  • 0.5 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 0.5 tsp lemon juice or cream of tartar
  • 1 tbsp butter

Method
 

  1. Separate egg yolks and whites into two bowls.
  2. Whisk yolks with milk and vanilla.
  3. Mix in flour and baking powder.
  4. Beat egg whites with lemon juice while adding sugar until stiff peaks form.
  5. Fold meringue gently into batter.
  6. Cook batter mounds on low heat in buttered pan with lid.
  7. Flip carefully and cook until fluffy and cooked through.
