Method
 

  1. Marinate chicken in buttermilk, salt, and pepper for 15 minutes.
  2. Prepare flour, egg, and breadcrumb coating stations.
  3. Coat chicken strips in flour, egg, then breadcrumbs.
  4. Fry chicken until golden brown and fully cooked.
  5. Make hot honey sauce by warming honey, butter, chili flakes, and spices.
  6. Drizzle sauce over fried chicken and serve immediately.

Notes

For extra crunch, double coat the chicken and let it rest for 5 minutes before frying.
