Ingredients
  

Chicken
  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
Garlic Parmesan Sauce
  • 6 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese freshly grated
  • 1 cup chicken broth

Method
 

  1. Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and paprika.
  2. Sear chicken in olive oil and butter until golden brown on both sides.
  3. Cook garlic in butter until fragrant, then add chicken broth and heavy cream.
  4. Whisk in parmesan cheese until smooth and creamy.
  5. Return chicken to skillet and simmer until fully cooked.
  6. Garnish with parsley and extra parmesan before serving.

Notes

Freshly grated parmesan melts best and creates the smoothest sauce.
