  • 2.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 0.5 cup milk
Cinnamon Swirl
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 0.75 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp ground cinnamon
Cream Cheese Glaze
  • 4 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1.5 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Equipment

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and prepare a lined 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. Prepare batter by mixing wet and dry ingredients separately, then combine.
  3. Spread batter, swirl cinnamon mixture throughout, and bake until set.
  4. Cool completely and top with cream cheese glaze before slicing.

For bakery-style bars, chill briefly before slicing for cleaner edges.
