Ingredients
  

Cake Batter
  • 170 g dark chocolate chopped
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 pinch salt

Equipment

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 220°C and grease ramekins with butter and cocoa powder.
  2. Melt chocolate and butter together until smooth.
  3. Whisk eggs, egg yolks, and powdered sugar until thick.
  4. Combine chocolate mixture with egg mixture.
  5. Add flour, vanilla, and salt then mix gently.
  6. Divide batter into ramekins and bake for 10–12 minutes.
  7. Invert cakes onto plates and serve immediately.

Notes

Serve immediately for the perfect molten chocolate center.
